WILMINGTON — Charles E. Crawford peacefully departed from this world on June 14th, 2025, from Novant Hospital in Wilmington, NC.
Charles had “Fought a good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the Faith.” (2nd Timothy 4:7)
Charles worked many jobs, however, the job that he loved the most was working as a custodian at Hoggard H.S. in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Charles loved everyone, mainly his wife Cynthia Rock-Crawford. He loved everyone and was a stranger to none.♥️. Charles loved his children, Andre’a and David and he especially loved his grandchildren and was a positive role model for all of them. Also known as “Lil Bit”, he was a dedicated Husband, Pop, PaPa, Uncle, Brother, Friend, etc. He loved reading the 23rd Psalm everyday and going to Church. Charles’ hobbies were to spend as much quality time with all of his grandchildren and loved to cook, especially making his famous pot of Collard Greens. He also loved watching NCIS, 48 HRS., and CNN.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 South College Road, Wilmington, NC 28412, with Apostle Jimmy Williams officiating.
