Starting Jan. 1, printed bills will come with a $1 fee — assessed due to increased printing and postage costs.

In order to avoid the fee, customers can sign up for free, paperless billing here. Customers can also sign up to receive notifications about their paperless bill via email, text, or both.

Customers will need to register their account only, by using an activation code listed on the bill. After signing into your online CFPUA account, click the “Account Summary” page and select “Sign up for paperless billing” to enroll.

If the activation code can’t be located, customers can also call 910-322-6550 to receive. CFPUA customer service is open from Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
