WILMINGTON — Judy Bagley Guilford, 65, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Judy was born January 23, 1960 in Fayetteville, NC, daughter of the late Billy Ray Bagley and Pauline Brigman Bagley. Her husband, Theodore “Ted” Eugene Guilford, III, preceded her death in 2020.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Devine and her husband Donnie of Hope Mills; her niece, Jennifer Staggs of Clayton. She is also survived by her nephew, Christopher Staggs of Fayetteville. Late nephew, Michael Ray Staggs (2011) of Fayetteville.
She is survived by her niece, Robin Felker and her husband Andrew Niles of Kensington, MD. Nephew, William Felker and his wife Emily of Fuquay Varina. Great-nephews, Adam Niles, Isaac Niles, and Louis Felker,
Judy loved her family and friends very much. She attended church at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Wilmington. Judy had a heart of gold. Even when she was sick, she always said, “Someone had it worse, I am blessed.” She always helped with the food bank and the church. She was also a part of the Cursillo.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 5820 Myrtle Grove Road, Wilmington, NC 28409.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be given to Holy Cross Episcopal Church Contingency Fund for upkeep of the property and/or Holy Cross Episcopal Church – Daughters of the King, Chapter Elizabeth.
