WILMINGTON — Francis “Frank” Barton Taylor, Jr., 60, of Wilmington, NC passed away on January 13, 2025 at home. He was born September 26, 1964, in New Hanover County, NC, to Francis B. Taylor Sr. and Elizabeth Furr Taylor.
Frank retired from Corning and was an avid fan of both NC State and the Raiders. He was blessed to fulfill his life-long dream of seeing his Raiders play in Las Vegas last year.
Survivors include his daughter, Shenelle Taylor; his mother, Elizabeth Taylor; his father, Francis B. Taylor Sr.; one sister, Melissa Carter (Bobby); one brother, Michael Taylor; two nephews: Justin Carter and Jeremy Carter; one niece, Jenna Carter; two great-nieces: Keighley Carter and Amelia Carter.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Rhonda Taylor.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Frank’s memory may be directed to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
