WILMINGTON — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College has announce two acts — The Electric Light Orchestra Experience, featuring music group Evil Woman and strings from the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed comedian Jeff Arcuri.
The Electric Light Orchestra Experience will perform on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. Next year, Arcuri will bring “The Road Trip Tour” to the Wilson Center on Friday, April 23, 2027, at 7 p.m.

The Electric Light Orchestra Experience is a multimedia concert celebration of the music of Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra. Featuring Evil Woman, a twelve-piece band complete with violins, viola, cello, and electric guitars, the production captures the unique mixture of classic rock and pop that made ELO the standout success it is. Evil Woman will be joined by the string section of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra to provide audiences with a deeply immersive and authentic experience.
Evil Woman is known for recreating the sound of ELO’s original recordings, with remarkable attention to details in both vocal harmonies and classical arrangements. Audiences can expect to hear their favorite hits like “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Livin’ Thing,” “Evil Woman,” and more alongside unique video content created for each song.

Audiences may recognize him from appearances on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Comedy Central’s “Roast Battle,” and “Laughs on Fox.” Now, Arcuri is bringing fresh material and plenty of laughs to fans on “The Road Trip Tour.” Adding to an already impressive year, Arcuri will soon bring his stand-up to audiences worldwide with the premiere of his comedy special this summer.
Tickets to both shows will be available online to Wilson Center Members on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. Tickets for Jeff Arcuri go on sale online and in person to the general public on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10 a.m., while The Electric Light Orchestra Experience goes on sale to the general public on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10 a.m.
