WILMINGTON — Raymond George Ward, 80, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020.
Ray was born Oct. 15, 1940, in Westfield, Massachusetts. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from Oct. 16, 1957, to Dec 17, 1959.
Ray was a professional locksmith and owned and operated Atlantic Coast Locksmith until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jane Ward, on Feb. 26, 2009.
He is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Ward, and her husband, Bobby Jackson, and Debra Gelinas, and her husband, Lewis Gelinas; three grandchildren, Tyler Jackson and Lewis and Amanda Gelinas; four great-grandchildren, Lillian, Dylan, Jocelyn and Collin; and other extended family members.
