
PENDER COUNTY — Pender County Schools has hired Paula King-Jacobs as the new principal at Malpass Corner Elementary.
A Pender County native and Pender High School graduate, King-Jacobs began her educational journey by spending 11 years teaching 5th grade at Cape Fear Elementary. She previously served as the assistant principal at Malpass Corner.
King-Jacobs earned her bachelor’s degree at UNCW and holds a master’s in educational leadership from Gardner-Webb University, where she is currently pursuing her doctorate in educational leadership.
Outside of school, Ms. King-Jacobs enjoys spending time with her husband, Jesse, and their three children—Gavin, Abrianna, and Jessica—all products of Pender County Schools.
