City closed for MLK Day, bulk trash pickup must be scheduled by Friday

WILMINGTON — Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be honored Monday, Jan. 16. City of Wilmington offices will be closed for the federally recognized holiday.

City recycling and trash collection service are scheduled to run as normal on Monday. However, anyone needing bulky items, metal or electronics picked up must schedule before 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13.
