WILMINGTON — As the nationwide writers’ strike leaves many film crew members out of work, two local organizers are partnering on a market to help with funds.

The IATSE 491 Women’s Committee is hosting a Film Family Flea Market at Dark Horse Studios, 301 Harley Drive, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 8. The event is free to attend.

Thirty vendors will be participating, comprising local film crew fiscally impacted by the strike, and selling tools, vintage items, collectibles, furniture, books, housewares, arts-and-crafts, CBD products and more.

Kei Cafe Coffee, Slice of Ice, and Los Campos Taco Zone food trucks will be parked on site; all accept credit and debit cards.
