WILMINGTON — Reggae and country will take over Wilmington’s two amphitheater stages this summer.
Stephen Marley tickets are now on sale for Greenfield Lake Amphitheater and Riley Green tickets go on sale this week for a show at Live Oak Bank Pavilion.
Riley Green
The Alabama country music artist, Riley Green, is making a stop at downtown’s Live Oak Bank Pavilion on July 13. Joining him will be Wyatt McCubbin and Dylan Marlowe.
Green, once a part of the CMT reality show “Redneck Island,” has released a handful of EPs in the mid aughts before his 2019 first album “Different ‘Round Here.” Included was the platinum single “There Was This Girl” which charted number three on U.S. country airplay radio and number one on the country Billboard charts.
He also scored the Best New Male Artist by the Academy of Country Music in 2019.
Tickets to his show go on sale Friday, May 5, 10 a.m., here. Fan club members can secure tickets May 2-4.

Stephen Marley
The son of reggae’s Godfather, Bob Marley, Stephen Marley returns to Greenfield Lake this August.
He blends reggae with hip-hop and R&B, and has worked with famed artists like Wyclef Jean, Shaggy and Pitbull. He also founded Kaya Fest over the last five years to celebrate 4-20 and spread education on cannabis. The festival has expanded into Florida from California.
Marley first took to the mic at age 6, playing with The Melody Makers and releasing its first song, “Children Playing in The Streets,” in 1979. The track was produced on his father’s label Tuff Gong. From 1989 to 1998, Stephen scored three Grammys during his time with The Melody Makers. Over his career he has taken home eight.
The founder of independent record label Ghetto Youths International is performing Aug. 9; tickets are on sale now for $40.
