WILMINGTON — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher G. McNew, who left this world on December 2, 2025, at the age of 47. Born in El Paso, TX, Christopher was a resident of Wilmington, NC.
Christopher was a man who cherished the simple joys in life, particularly the time spent carefree with his friends. His warm spirit and genuine nature touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his daughter Bryana McNew, his mother Kim Thompson, and his brothers Travis and Derrick Thompson. Christopher leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the memories shared with those closest to him.
