WILMINGTON — Paul Dee, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, in Wilmington, NC. Born on July 22, 1948, in Manhattan, NY, Paul lived a life marked by dedication to his craft and love for his family and friends. He was 76 years old at the time of his passing.
Paul spent his early years in Manhattan before serving his country in the Air Force. Following his service, he pursued two years of college education, which laid the foundation for his successful career as a home builder. His work was characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creating spaces that would become cherished homes for many families.
In addition to his professional achievements, Paul was an avid wood carver. His artistry and skill were evident in the beautiful pieces he created, each reflecting his deep appreciation for the natural beauty of wood.
Paul resided in Castle Hayne, NC, where he enjoyed a peaceful life surrounded by those he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Di Giacomo and Jane Kramer Di Giacomo, and his two beloved children.
He is survived by his devoted sister, his loving domestic partner, Kathy Sprinkle, and his cherished godchildren, Morgan Sprinkle and Stephen Sprinkle. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Kimberly Foraker, who shared in his joys and supported him through life’s challenges.
At this time, there are no services planned to honor Paul’s memory. His family and friends will remember him privately, cherishing the moments they shared with him and the legacy he leaves behind.
Paul Dee will be remembered for his kindness, his craftsmanship, and the love he gave to those around him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
