“We were thrilled with the response to our first Let’s Talk Leland event and the meaningful conversations it created with our residents,” Mayor Bozeman said in a release. “I’m excited to continue that momentum and welcome the community back for our second event as we work together to shape Leland’s future.”

The July event will begin with a 30-minute informal social and meet-and-greet at 6 p.m., followed by a facilitated question-and-answer session from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Residents are encouraged to submit questions at check-in or throughout the event.

Forums will continue to be scheduled with the rest of the council members throughout the year.
