Keith Edward Woodson, 50

Keith Edward Woodson (Wilmington Funeral & Cremation)

CAROLINA BEACH — It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Woodson, who left us over the holiday season.

Keith was a sensitive and kind soul, a prankster and a lover of gift-giving. He was a creative spirit who worked in architecture and brightened the world with his cartoons, caricatures, and tie-dye creations. Many of us will fondly remember evenings spent around a bonfire with his alter ego, Stu Pidman, where Keith entertained us with his stories, guitar playing, and music.

Keith’s playfulness and generosity were at the heart of his character. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel included and valued, often going out of his way to lend a hand or share a laugh. His playful spirit and giving nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Though the world has lost a bit of its light, we find comfort in the legacy Keith leaves behind in his three daughters, Kassidy Reann,Brenna Kincaid, and Maddie Jane, who carry forward the best of him. He is also survived by his mother, Anita Karen Loeffler, step-father Jim Loeffler, his brother, Michael Woodson, and a host of extended family that he treasured.

A gathering in Keith’s memory will be held on January 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the outdoor fire pits at Carolina Beach Pier (1800 Carolina Beach Ave N, Carolina Beach, NC 28428). Friends and family are invited to share stories and pictures of their time with him. Please come as you are and dress for the weather. Indoor areas (third floor, High Tide Lounge) will be available if needed.

Keith will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Please share memories and condolences here.
