ROCKY POINT — Franchon K. Francees, founder of Healing Your Almond, and eldest granddaughter of Maj. General Joseph A. McNeil of The Greensboro Four, passed away at age 40 on June 5, 2024. Ms. Francees was a resident of Rocky Point, NC.
Public viewing 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Franchon’s life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her mother, Jacqueline Jackson of Hempstead, NY; father, Jonathan Smith of Shinnecock Territory, Southampton, NY; siblings, Taylor Smith, Ache Wequay Smith, Kayden Smith and Lakota Sky Smith all of Shinnecock Territory, Southampton, NY, Michael Sharpfish of Rapid City, SD and Becky Crosby of Creola, OH; maternal grandparents, Major General Joseph A. McNeil, Sr., U.S. Air Force (Ret.) and Ina McNeil of Hempstead, NY, aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
