WILMINGTON — Carolyn Marie (Hart) Clarke, 78, of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully at her home on March 3, 2023.
She was born on January 8, 1945 to the late Eustace and Alma Bell Hart in Washington, DC.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clarke; and brother, Stephen Hart.
Carolyn is survived by her brother, James Hart; her loyal toy poodle companion, Sweet Pea; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carolyn was a woman of faith. She was beloved by all who had the honor of knowing her and she will be dearly missed.
A private service is to be held at a later date where she will be buried with her husband at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilmington Funeral & Cremation in Wilmington, NC.
