WILMINGTON — Ernestine Dickey, age 78, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021.
A celebration of Ms. Dickey’s life will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4925 New Centre Dr., Wilmington, NC 28403.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28411.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Todd Dickey of Newark, NJ, Thaddeus Jones of Knightdale, and Chinita Scarboro (Sheldon) of Raleigh; siblings, George Whitmore of Wilmington, Gwendolyn Witherspoon of Raleigh, Glenn Hart (Lorraine) and Anthony Hart both of Wilmington and Pansie Flood (Merrill) of Winterville; granddaughters, Amber Scarboro and Ashley Scarboro both of Raleigh and a host of other relatives and friends.
