WINNABOW — Michelle Loren Gilbert, age 52, of Winnabow, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021.
A graveside service will be conducted at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 5701 Ocean Hwy E, Winnabow, NC 28479.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Andrew Jackson Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Ben Alvin Gilbert Sr.; children, Orlando Jones (McKenzie), Ben Gilbert Jr., Cardarius Gilbert (Brittany) and Leonard Joyner; grandchildren, Cali, Maliah and Alivia Jones; mother, Mary Ellen Jones; grandmother, Carrie Mae Pugh; siblings, Ann Taylor (Leonard), Shelia Briggs, Andrew Jones, Marvin Dudley, Annette Williams (Joe), Patricia Briggs, William Jones (LaShay), Christine Smith (Eric) and Lakisha Jones; aunts, Ollie Stackhouse and Doretha Boykins; great-aunt, Elizabeth Sharpless; special friends and caregivers, Tracy Bowen, Geraldine Gregory, Marlene Randolph and Rhonda Randolph and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
