DELCO — Jerry Walker Wallace, 78, unexpectely passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020. He was born to Roley and Esther (Potter) Wallace in 1942 and was married to Linda (Bullard) Wallace for 59 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Bobby and Charles, also known as “Brother”.
Jerry is survived by wife, Linda; daughter, Melissa (Steve); and granddaughters, Meagan and Maria.
After high school, Jerry began a long career in the chemical plant industry, where he dedicated over 50 years of service. He began his career at Wright Chemical before working at Pfizer, and retiring (twice) from ADM. Jerry loved his work, his animals, being outdoors and reading a good book in his favorite rocker or swing, but most of all, he loved his people.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Bridge of Life Community Church, 2220 Mercantile Drive NE, Leland. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jerome Bullard and Mr. Randy Tedder of Virginia. The family requests that if you plan to attend, please wear a mask or face covering and practice safety guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bridge of Life Community Church.
