Maria Antonietta Parra, 52, “Anni” to all who knew and loved her, died suddenly Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, of an unexpected illness.
Anni served as the grant administrator at Talbert and Bright Engineering. Anni always knew just the right help to lend. She chose just the right words. She listened and she cared, and you could feel it. Some lights are so bright they can never be extinguished. Her megawatt smile was something to behold, and it was always given so freely. Oh, and by the way, her hair was really badass, too.
Anni was born in El Paso, Texas, to Guillermo M.Parra and Maria Chavez Parra and grew up with with six brothers and sisters Willie, Lori, Ernie, Margie, Peter, Greg; and her very special cousin, Gina. Anni is also survived by her spouse, Deb Butler; beloved pups, Paytee Pie and Molly Moo; as well as countless nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Basilica Shrine of Saint Mary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may me may be made to the following organizations: Paws Place at tmcfunding.com; Good Shepherd Center at tmcfunding.com; and Cat Adoption Team (CAT) at tmcfunding.com.
