Thelma Marie Autry Alexander, of Ocean Isle Beach and formerly of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at the age of 86.
Born in Vass on June 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alsie Vaden and Christina Kelly Autry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, James Alexander.
Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Robert L. Alexander, of the home; sons, Tommy Alexander and wife, Gwen, and Phillip Alexander, all of Fayetteville; and granddaughters, Tiffany and Elizabeth Alexander.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at Shallotte Presbyterian Church. A graveside service follow at 3 p.m. at McPherson Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Fayetteville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Shallotte Presbyterian Church.
