The day begins with registration and check-in at 9 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony and walk officially starting at 10 a.m. During the walk, participants will take part in the Promise Garden ceremony, using colored pinwheel flowers to symbolize their personal connection to the disease.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a global movement led by the Alzheimer’s Association, a voluntary health organization committed to ending the disease and all other dementia. Locally, funds raised support the Association’s critical mission to provide quality care and support for North Carolina families, drive risk reduction and early detection efforts, and accelerate worldwide research efforts toward treatment and a cure.
