WILMINGTON — A 16-year-old has been charged in connection the death of 34-year-old Adriana Hall, found in her home by police on Adirondack Way on Oct. 8.
Wilmington Police Department arrested the juvenile female and charged her with accessory to murder, according to a release sent Friday from the department.
This is the second arrest in the case, as police also apprehended a 17-year-old, located in a nearby park earlier this month after investigating the homicide. Officers were called to Hawthorne on Oleander apartments to do a welfare check, as requested by a family member.
Upon entry, they found the victim dead from a gunshot wound.
According to media partner WECT, the victim and 17-year-old were cousins. He stole Hall’s car keys and vehicle after shooting Hall while she was sleeping, then discarding the gun the neighbor’s yard.
He had his first court appearance on Oct. 10 and was charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and auto larceny.
