BRUNSWICK COUNTY — The county’s school district has set up a Covid-19 dashboard to track positive and quarantine cases, locations, and recoveries. The district stated the dashboard could be a useful tool to combat or fact-check rumors, as well a way for the general public to stay informed.

The Dashboard lists cases and quarantines by school, based on confirmed case information provided by the Brunswick County Department of Health.

As of Thursday, September 24, the dashboard shows no positive cases and five precautionary quarantines at Bolivia Elementary, North Brunswick High, South Brunswick Middle, South Brunswick High, and Town Creek Elementary.

The dashboard will not list 100% full-semester remote students or community members who don’t have any contact campus. The dashboard will include dates and locations but not identities.

You can find the dashboard online here.

“Brunswick County Schools has extensive protocols in place in the event of a confirmed case on school grounds that includes, but not limited to, deep cleans with both surface santizing via hand and electrostatic disinfection.  Electrostatic spray is electrically charged, allowing the appropriate sanitizers, mold preventatives, and disinfectants to wrap around and evenly coat all types of surfaces for a more complete clean,” according to the district.
