COLUMBUS COUNTY — “Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans’ husband David Eason is again making headlines after allegedly shooting and killing Evans’ pet French bulldog Nugget.

This isn’t the first time Eason has made waves on social media; last year the Wilmington Police Department responded to a video where Eason hooked his truck up to another in downtown Wilmington and illegally towed it from a spot.

An Instagram post by Eason reads:

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face….whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont [sic] put up with that shit at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes [sic] mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt [sic] the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather [sic] or not a [sic] animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

According to Us Weekly, “A source told Us Weekly exclusively on Tuesday, April 30, that Eason, 30, shot and killed the French bulldog after it “snapped at [the couple’s 2-year-old daughter] Ensley.” Evans then fled the North Carolina home she shares with her husband of nearly two years before briefly returning to pack a bag.”

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office has not responded to comment as to whether or not they are pressing charges against Eason and Port City Daily is in the process of requesting the 911 call.
