Criminal charges for ‘Teen Mom’ husband who illegally towed vehicle from downtown Wilmington

WILMINGTON — A criminal summons has been issued for David Eason, the husband of “Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans, after a viral video posted by Eason showed him illegally towing a truck out of a downtown parking space.

Eason has been charged with tampering with a vehicle and injury to personal property, according to the Wilmington Police Department.

The summons states Eason “unlawfully and willingly” hooked a winch to the victim’s vehicle and towed it, causing damage to the transmission.

Eason will be required to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2019.
