WILMINGTON — Halligan’s Public House took its sign down and emptied its dining room of furniture this week.

Signs stating “For Lease” were displayed prominently on the windows of the Lumina Station location of Halligan’s. The restaurant had been visibly cleaned out and is now listed as available on the Burroughs and Chapin real estate page for Lumina Station.

Owner B.T. Corrigan opened the second Halligan’s location in June of 2013. Corrigan also owns Tavern on 17th located in the Pointe at Barclay, and Siena Trattoria which neighbors the original Halligan’s on Masonboro Sound Road.

Corrigan was not available for comment, but managers from each of his other three restaurants confirmed they were still open for business.
