“Velez, Albarran, Cortes, and another unknown male drove to and broke into the Supply home of Herman and Erika Faircloth. Cortes, the driver, and Albarran remained outside the home as Velez and the unknown male climbed onto a balcony and broke a window to gain entry into the house.
Velez, armed with a shotgun, held the Faircloths at gunpoint and demanded money from the victims. Velez and his co-defendants eventually left with a lockbox containing papers and a small collection of foreign coins,” according to the release.
Both Velez and Cortes pleaded guilty on Monday, Velez will serve 84-113 months and Cortes will serve 60-84 months in the Department of Adult Corrections. In March Albarran was sentenced to 78-106 months in prison.
