
A cast member of MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” was sentenced to two days in jail on a drug charge Monday in Brunswick County District Court.
Jenelle Evans, 21, of Caswell Beach, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and sentenced by District Judge Pauline Hankins to a 48-hour active sentence, according to the Brunswick County Clerk of Court’s office.
Charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance and simple assault were dismissed.

At about 1 p.m. Monday, Evans was booked at the Brunswick County Detention Center, where she will serve her sentence.
