Monday, Nov. 10
The New Hanover County Schools Policy Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in the Board of Education Center, 1805. S. 13th St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

- Policy 2310 – Public Participation at Board Meetings
The Leland Town Council will host a special meeting at 3 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center. The meeting can be streamed here. The agenda includes an open burning workshop.
The Brunswick County Planning Board will meet at 4 p.m. in Commissioners Chambers at the David R. Sandifer Administration Building. The agenda includes consideration of the proposed Sailor’s Haven Planned Development consisting of 283 single-family units on about 117.38 acres, located on Seaside Road. Also, there will be public hearings for four planned developments:
- Consideration of the proposed modification to Old Georgetown Planned Development consisting of 375 single-family units on about 128 acres, located on Green Hill Road.
- Consideration of the proposed Green Hill Planned Development consisting of 1,450 single-family units on roughly 784 acres, located on Green Hill Road.
- Consideration of the proposed Carolina Strand Planned Development consisting of 1,500 single-family units on 592 acres, located on Whiteville Road.
- Consideration of the proposed Capeview at Southport Planned Development, consisting of 139 single-family units on approximately 23.5 acres, located on Dosher Cut-Off.
Town of Navassa has an agenda meeting at 6 p.m. at 338 Main St.
Tuesday, Nov. 11
The New Hanover County Board of Elections will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose at the Board of Elections Office. Wednesday, Nov. 12
The Carolina Beach Town Council will host a regular meeting at 6 p.m. at Council Chambers at Town Hall. The meeting will be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Budget amendments
- Presentation of the annual audit
- Presentation of Revenue Bond Financial Feasibility Analysis
- A public hearing on the Harmony Hospitality hotel’s conditional zoning
- Text amendment proposals on:
- Beach vehicles to assess safety (ATVs)
- Allowing the ownership of miniature goats
- Paid parking program
- Fishing

The Topsail Beach Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. at the Topsail Beach Town Hall. The agenda includes an update on the public safety building project and discussion on the town’s garbage and recycling contract with GFL. The meeting will livestream here.
The Brunswick County Board of Elections sample audit county takes place at 9 a.m. at the BOE office, 75 Stamp Act Dr NE, Building H. Members of the public may attend meetings in-person or virtually via live stream here.
Brunswick H2Go will meet at 3 p.m. in the RO Treatment Plant training room, 146 Gregory Road in Belville. The agenda includes a workshop on the aquifer storage recovery (ASR) well project overview, operations office complex project update and public communications update.
CFPUA Authority Board meets at 9 a.m. at 230 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes the strategic plan update and departmental and committee reports, including the $3.9-million contract with Carbon Activated Corporation for Granular Activated Carbon regeneration at Sweeney Water Treatment Plant.
Thursday, Nov. 13
The New Hanover County Commissioners will hold an agenda review at 4 p.m. in the NHC Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive. Meetings are livestreamed here. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Wilmington Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. in city hall, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- 515 S. Third St.: Subdividing a lot, constructing an access road, and constructing a small new house
- 613 Chestnut St.: Small rear addition
- Mary Etta Williams House and Property, 709 N. Eighth St.: Study List Application

The Pender County Board of Elections will hold a meeting at 11 a.m. to hear any ballot challenges and conduct the county canvass of election results. The meeting will take place at 305 S. Walker St.
The Brunswick County Board of Elections will hold the election canvass at 11 a.m. in Commissioners’ Chambers, 30 Government Center Dr NE. Members of the public may attend meetings in-person or virtually via live stream here.
