DAV Wilmington, Red Cross hosting pre-Independence Day blood drive

WILMINGTON, NC — With the holiday weekend approaching, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 11 Wilmington is hosting a community blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross.

The blood drive will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DAV Chapter 11 Wilmington headquarters, 4601 Park Avenue. Donors are highly encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance. Participants can register here.

DAV aims to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity by helping navigate their VA benefits and provide counseling for veterans on claims and appeals — all at no cost.
