LELAND — Jackie Patrick Owens, 64, of Leland, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025.
Born on April 6, 1961, to the late Leona Moore and Jack Williams, Jackie was a devoted caregiver whose warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
She spent many years working in construction before discovering her calling as a home health care provider, where her heart of gold and willingness to help others shone through every day. She took great joy in spending time outdoors—whether tending her yard or taking family trips to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
Jackie’s family was her greatest treasure. She is survived by her children, Amber Patrick and Mark Twain Patrick (wife Stephanie); her grandchildren, Kevin Williams Jr., Anna Moss, Jayden Patrick, Alanta Patrick, Mia Patrick, Logan Patrick, and Colby Patrick; and her precious great-grandchild, Kinsleigh Williams. She is also survived by her siblings, Hugh Moore of Leland, Rick Williams of Wilmington, Linda Paxton of Ohio, and Deborah Williams of Leland. Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Kevin Williams, her parents, and her siblings John Williams, James Williams, and Priscilla Graham.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and hard work will be carried on by her children and grandchildren. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
