WILMINGTON — Dolores Jane (Rascsak) Hutko, previously of Youngstown, OH, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023, in Wilmington, NC. She was born on February 20, 1932, in West Salem, PA. Dolores was 91 years old at the time of her passing.
Dolores lived a life marked by independence and a love for simple pleasures. She found joy in tending to her rose garden at her home and cherished the tradition of Sunday dinners shared with her beloved son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and Oliver the dog.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ernest Hutko, and her son, Jeffrey Hutko. She leaves behind her loving son, Gary Hutko, and his wife Laura. Dolores also leaves behind her cherished granddaughters, Grace, Flannery and Gabrielle.
Services for Dolores will be held at a later date, where she will be laid to rest in Youngstown, OH, with a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown, OH.
Dolores Jane Hutko will be remembered for her independent spirit, her love for her family, and her appreciation for the beauty of nature. May she find eternal peace and may her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
