WILMINGTON — Margot Elizabeth Fullmer, age 69, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 in her favorite place, her home.
Margot was born in Connecticut to the late Bryce Burroughs and Mary Ann Reed. After graduating from high school, Margot began a career as a nurse. Although Margot was only a practicing nurse for several years, her passion for caregiving never wavered as she cared for family members and loved ones throughout her life. Margot officially ended her career as a nurse when she got her dream job of becoming a mother.
Margot is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and David Gross; her son and daughter- in-law Gregory and Michele Simons; her four grandchildren, Lena, Lola, Harris and Hampton; and her beloved Yorkie Kona. Margot is also survived by her dear coworkers and friends from Yarns of Wilmington. Margot was one of the kindest and most giving people that you will ever meet. Margot will be missed by so many people that were lucky enough to have gotten to know her during her lifetime.
