
WILMINGTON — Wilmington Police Department have charged four people in the death of juvenile Jaysir Kamar Price, 14. The shooting took place on Sept. 8 at S. 5th Avenue and Dawson Street and the teenager was transported to the hospital but passed away due to sustained injuries.
Dorian Maurice McNeil, 24, is accused of killing Price and stealing his phone. McNeil faces first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon and was arrested on Sept. 21.
Sincere Maurice Ortiz, 22, was also arrested on Sept. 23 with the same charges.
Both Ortiz and McNeil are being held without bond at New Hanover County Detention Center without a bond, as is Quintell Green Jr.
Green Jr., 22, was taken into custody and faces first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Multiple law enforcement agencies worked together in Green’s arrest, including WPD, SBI, U.S. Marshals, and New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
Alexis Johnson also has been arrested and is charged with felony accessory. She has a $150,000 bond.
