LELAND — James Mathieson Herd III, age 72, of Leland, NC passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, NC.
He was born on March 19, 1950 in Middlesex, MA to the late James Mathieson Herd, Jr. and Winifred J. Calley Herd.
James was a kind man who lived life to the fullest. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
