WILMINGTON — Clara Myers Tabler, 86, of Wilmington, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 11, 2022. Born May 12, 1936, in Jefferson County, West Virginia. She was the only child of the late Ralph E. Myers and Florence Zeigler Myers. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, NC. Employed by the Berkeley County (WV) School system for over 30 years. Former Sunday School and Bible School teacher, sang in the choir, Junior Choir Director, Member of the Women of the Church and First Presbyterian Church Circle #3.
She is survived by her daughter, Melonie Orr and husband Ronald of Falling Waters, WV; her Son, John Tabler and spouse Stephen Lewis of Wilmington, NC; and Son-in-Law Kenneth Niji of Bridgeton, NJ. Four grandchildren; Jeremy Ruble, Jackie Baran, Michaela Loja and Karen Bietsch; Five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Maureen Niji.
Family and friends are invited to attend the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, NC on July 31, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. for the interment of ashes at the church columbarium. The celebration of life will continue during the 10:00 a.m. morning worship service.

She enjoyed music, painting with oils and watercolors, sketching, watching her hummingbirds and was an accomplished seamstress. She loved being creative with her hands.
