WILMINGTON — Kay Dianne (Eigner) Stains, 87, passed away on June 22, 2022, in Wilmington, NC. She was born to Adele (Valentine) and Charles Eigner on July 24, 1934, in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey.
She is survived by her son, Michael Stains (Carol Reyes) of Eyota, MN; Granddaughter, Katie ReyesMurray (Ronald Murray) of Poughkeepsie, NY; Great-Grandchildren: James Eugene,17, MacKenzye Lin, 11, Cassandra Joyce, 9, Lyiam Joseph, 9; and her nieces: Erin Sipley and Gloria Stains Banach.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Dianne Stains, her sister, Joyce (Eigner) Rost, and her brother,
Gary Eigner.
Kay had a wonderful sense of humor, loved gardening and had great love for her family. We will all miss
you, Kay. May you now rest in peace.
The family would like to thank North Chase Nursing Rehab and Wilmington Hospice Care for their care of Kay. It was comforting to know she was under your care, and everyone rallied to be with her at the end.
