Marine Corps to host Aviation Job Fair

PENDER COUNTY — Marine Corps service members interested in aviation opportunities beyond their miliary career can attend Wednesday’s Aviation Job Fair, hosted by the Marine Corps Community Services, Lejeune-New River Transition Readiness program.

Taking place Aug. 4, 9 a.m. -1 p.m., the fair will feature opportunities for pilots, mechanics and in support positions. The event takes place at the Career Resource Center (AS-901) aboard MCAS New River (901 Longstaff St.).

According to a press release, “service members are encouraged to bring plenty of civilian and federal résumés and be prepared to be interviewed on the spot.”
