Tri-county schools check-in: Reported Covid-19 cases down to single digits in New Hanover, Pender

SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — New Hanover County Schools is reporting five cases and six assigned quarantines the week of Nov. 5, according to the district’s online dashboard.

NHCS’ Covid-19 data is not entered in real-time. Some active cases may not be reflected until the following week’s totals are published on Friday.

Brunswick County Schools

As of Friday, Nov. 5, Brunswick County Schools is reporting 31 active Covid-19 cases. More than 80 people were assigned to quarantine as of the latest update.

Pender County Schools

Pender County Schools reported two Covid-19 cases and 15 quarantines for the week of Oct. 24 to Oct. 30, according to its latest report. The school system will update its dashboard with more recent data Monday on its website.
