PENDER COUNTY — The North Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close a Pender County road beginning Monday.
A section of Highsmith Road near Stone House Road will be closed for about two weeks while crews replace a crossline pipe. The road is expected to reopen March 13, though this work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid travel delays and exercise caution near the work zone.
