Police searching for suspect in Eastwood Road bank robbery

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a bank on Eastwood Road on April 10. (Courtesy WPD)

WILMINGTON — Law enforcement are searching for a female who held up a First Citizens Bank on Thursday, April 10.

The lady approached a teller at the 1910 Eastwood Road facility and handed over a note demanding money. The incident happened just before noon, according to Wilmington Police Department, which are investigating the incident.

The suspect is a female and was described as fully covered in overgarments, including wearing a teal head scarf.

The WPD, assisted by the NHCSO K-9 unit, are attempting to locate the suspect. Anyone with information can read out to the department via the anonymous Tip 411 app or by calling (910) 343-3609.
