Topsail High School moves up basketball games

Topsail High School has moved up its home basketball games vs. West Brunswick High School from Friday, Jan. 10, to Thursday, Jan. 9. (Courtesy photo)

PENDER COUNTY — Due to inclement weather that could affect the region Friday and Saturday, at least one area high school is rescheduling events.

Temperatures have dropped into the 20s overnight this week and by Thursday could feel in the 10s due to windy conditions. Friday, there is a chance for a wintry mix of precipitation as well.

As such, Topsail High School has moved up its home basketball games vs. West Brunswick High School from Friday, Jan. 10, to Thursday, Jan. 9.

All four games are still scheduled:

  • 4 p.m.: JV Girls in Aux Gym
  • 5:30 p.m.: JV Boys in Aux Gym
  • 6 p.m.: Varsity Girls in Main Gym
  • 7:30 p.m.: Varsity Boys in Main Gym
