Offender arrested for second-degree murder following domestic violence dispute

WILMINGTON — Local law enforcement sought a warrant for a 30-year-old in connection to a shooting.

The offender, Jashe Favors was arrested Sunday in Hickory, North Carolina, for second-degree murder for a shooting on Sept. 28. Wilmington Police Department officers responded to an apartment in the 600 block of Plum Nearly Lane and found one man was shot following a domestic dispute.

Favors said she had been attacked by a male, 33-year-old Anthony Parker, and she had shot him.

In reviewing the evidence and consulting with the district attorney’s office, a warrant was issued for second-degree murder. This investigation is still ongoing.
