NH County pipe replacements to take place next week

WILMINGTON — Construction will begin in midtown on a project between that will close a roadway for six days.

The N.C. Department of Transportation crews are scheduled for maintenance work on the road between Kerr Avenue and Truesdale Road. Crews will be replacing five crossline pipes and then will resurface the pavement.

It will be closed from June 12 to 18, weather depending.

Motorists will be routed to a detour to Blue Clay Road, North College Road and Bavarian Lane and North Kerr. Delays hsould be expected and drivers are advised to exercise caution through the work zones.
