
Update 9:15 a.m. – With all precincts now reported, it appears Surf City Mayor Doug Medlin successfully defended his seat against Councilman Jeremy Shugarts. It also appears incumbents William “Buddy” Fowler and Donald Helms along with newcomer Dwight Torres won three open council seats.
