WILMINGTON — The ‘Swamp Thing’ series, currently being produced for CW’s online streaming service, is looking for paid extras for a scene filming later this month.
According to Taylor Woodell, extras casting director for the show, the Warner Brothers series will be filming “a traditional Louisiana crawfish boil” scene on Tuesday, Jan. 29, and Wednesday, Jan. 30.
“We are looking for real families, friends, teens, etc. all ethnicities, ages 12 to 70s to be paid extras in these scenes,” Woodell said.
Extras must be available for both filming days, Woodell said.
Pay rate is guaranteed at $64 for eight hours ($8 per hour), with time-and-a-half overtime paid for ever hour after that, according to Woodell. Filming can last up to ten hours or longer, and will occur outside — extras are asked to come prepared.
