Work on the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority’s Northeast Interceptor project will require road closures near the intersection of South Cardinal Drive and Clear Run Drive in Wilmington.
The work, originally scheduled late last week, is now scheduled to occur Monday and Tuesday. Clear Run Drive will be closed to through traffic, as will Cardinal Drive between Clear Run and Oriole Drive. The CFPUA said the work was rescheduled in response to concerns that construction would extend through the weekend.
Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and use alternate routes.
