Snow’s Cut Bridge at Carolina Beach will slim from four to two lanes starting Wednesday so crews can begin “extensive repair work,” according to a press release from the N.C. Department of Transportation (DOT).
“One lane will remain open to traffic in each direction throughout the project, which is expected to last approximately four months,” DOT stated.
Commuters can expect cones and other traffic controllers in place on the bridge for the entire period.
“Motorists in the area are advised to use caution and drive slowly through the work zone,” the press release advised.
