NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Area organizations looking to secure some funding from The Endowment will have another week to apply before two grant deadlines close.

The community and capacity grants have a Friday, April 4, deadline, with nonprofits able to apply through The Endowment’s grantee portal.

Its Community Grants Program help provide funding for a variety of positive community-building programs, such as summer initiatives, afterschool activities, school supplies, arts programs, and community beautification efforts.

The Endowment’s Capacity Grants Program allows organizations a chance to secure funding to ensure stability, governance, and growth. Grants can help with strategic planning, professional and leadership development, succession and board planning, fundraising, research, program evaluation, and data organization.

Assistance on grant applications is offered from Moussa Toure through Thursday, April 3, 5 p.m. He can be reached by text at 910-262-7301 or via virtual appointment.
